The French Riveria has always been a Mecca to the rich and famous who gather to compare their yachts, for the film festival in Cannes and for the designer shopping in Nice. But it’s St Tropez that wins hands down for the most celebrity sightings with supermodels (Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss), film stars (Penelope Cruse, Leonardo Di Caprio, Jack Nicolson) and musicians (such as Elton John  and Mick Jagger) all making regular appearances.

With this type of visitor St. Tropez is not a place for the budget conscious.
